Stonehill College Skyhawks

Richard "Dick" Munson became the 27th individual associated with the men's basketball program to be inducted into the Stonehill Athletic Hall of Fame. A prolific scorer for Stonehill in the mid-1960's, he finished with 1,448 points. Despite playing only three varsity seasons for to NCAA restrictions on freshman eligibility at the rime, Munson graduated as the school's all-time leading scorer and was only the second player in program history to ever crack the 1,000-point barrier. During his stay, he helped lead Stonehill to 34 victories, including a school-record 19 triumphs during his sophomore campaign of 1962-63.
