Kristen Morast captained Stonehill to its first
appearance in the NCAA Division II Elite Eight during the 1993-1994
season. A former resident of Bridgewater, Mass. and all-star at
Bridgewater-Raynham High School, Morast graduated 15th on the
Stonehill career scoring list with 1,180 points and helped guide
Head Coach Paula Sullivan's squad to a 94-29 (.764) mark over four
seasons, including three Northeast-10 Conference regular season
titles and four trips to the NCAA tournament. She
also captained Stonehill to a 27-5 mark during her senior
campaign in which Stonehill knocked off Bentley by an
81-64 final in the 1994 NCAA New England Regional Championship game
to advance to the Division II Elite Eight for the second time in
school history. A two-time Northeast-10 All-Conference selection,
Kristen also helped lead Stonehill to a berth in the 1992 NCAA New
England Regional title game.
