During the four years that Leslie Laychak was on the women's basketball team at Stonehill, the Lady Chieftains were 84-34 overall and won the Northeast-10 Championship (1986-87) and finished with a best-ever 27-5 record. During Laychak’s career, Stoenhill earned two NCAA bids. She graduated in 1987 as the all-time leading scorer with 1,552 points, currently fourth on the all-time list. In addition, she set a single-season scoring record with 551 points in her senior year. Leslie scored a Stonehill-record 32 points in a victory against Bryant College. In 1984-85, she earned second-team all NE-8 honors. In her senior year, Leslie was ECAC first team and Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year. Leslie and her husband live in Amherst, N.H.
