#GoHill Day
The Stonehill athletic department, in conjunction with the Alumni Relations and Office of Advancement are pleased to host the first #GoHill Day to help launch The Go Hill Fund with today's full slate of home athletic events. The GoHill Fund supports 450 Stonehill student-athletes across 22 varsity sports. Each individual gift provides our coaches and students with the resources they need to compete and succeed at the highest levels—on and off the field. A quality collegiate athletic program has always relied upon successful collaboration to achieve goals, and it is no different at Stonehill. Through the hard work and dedication of our student-athletes and coaches and the generosity of our alumni, Stonehill's athletics program continues to produce incredible results. Gifts to the GoHill Fund advance the development of Stonehill Athletics. They provide the means to grant scholarships, improve facilities, fund out-of-region travel and foster the growth and development of students and staff. In addition to a pregame tent before today's football game, the College is hosting home games in women's soccer (11 AM), Men's Soccer (2 PM), Volleyball (3 PM) and Ice Hockey (7:30 PM) today.

150 Years of College Football
2019 marks a special milestone for college football, as it celebrates 150 years of the great game. Teams will recognize the birth of college football with a national all-division celebration among nearly 900 schools. Played longer than almost any sport in America, college football had its first contest in 1869 - just four years after the Civil War, when students from Princeton and Rutgers came together to compete on a campus field, November 6, 1869. The sport has touched millions on and off the field - shaping our lives and communities. Follow College Football 150 and visit cfb150.org throughout teh 2019 season to commemmorate the 150th anniversary of college football.
