First place in the Northeast-10 Conference standings is on the line again as Stonehill College visits Assumption College, receiving votes in this week's AFCA Division II poll, for a key NE10 clash at Multi-Sport Stadium this afternoon. The Skyhawks are looking to bounce back from their first NE10 loss of the season with their last-second 30-27 setback to rival Bentley University last Saturday, while the Greyhounds moved a half game in front of Stonehill and Pace University after a 28-14 win at American International College last weekend.

This afternoon's game is being presented live by Assumption College for NE10 Now, with Roei Biberstain (play-by-play) and former Greyhounds defensive lineman Jalen Johnson (color) calling the action. The broadcast can be accessed via portal.stretchinternet.com/assumption or through Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku.

NE10 Offensive Player of the Week
Stonehill senior wide receiver Andrew Jamiel (Yarmouth, Mass.) was named the Northeast-10 Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this fall by the league office on Monday. It marks the fourth time she has earned the honors over her career after posting the 13th double-digit reception and 14th 100-yard receiving game of his career against rival Bentley. He caught a touchdown pass, threw for a touchdown and rushed for a two-point conversion in the game in which he finished with season-high totals of 14 receptions and 187 yards. His 27-yard touchdown catch came just two plays after Bentley had scored its second touchdown of the afternoon for a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter, before adding a 17-yard touchdown toss to classmate Zac Pungitore (Norwood, Mass.) with 3:14 to play that knotted the score at 27-27 after Jamiel scampered in the two-point conversion.

Cornering the Market
Two Stonehill student-athletes have collected four of the seven NE10 Offensive Player of the Week awards handed out so far this season after senior Andrew Jamiel (Yarmouth, Mass.) earned the honors for the second time this season on Monday. Jamiel, who has earned the honors four times over his career, picked up the award for the first time after the Skyhawks week one win over Bloomsburg. Sophomore Justin Felder (Springfield Gardens, N.Y.) has also collected the weekly award twice this season on September 23 and October 5 after wins over Saint Anselm and American International.

They're Honored
Stonehill senior kicker Matt Haite (Pembroke, Mass.) and junior safety Sam Athy (Holliston, Mass.) were both named to the NE10's weekly honor roll on Monday for their efforts against rival Bentley on Saturday. Haite kept the Skyhawks within striking distance with four field goals, including a long of 41-yards in the third quarter. He also added kicks of 39, 34 and 23 yards on the afternoon, converting his lone extra point to finish with 13 points. Haite also averaged 62.3 yards on his six kickoffs, with two touchbacks. Athy finished with a career and game-high 14 tackles (nine solo) for the Skyhawks defense, chipping in with 0.5 tackles for a loss of a yard.
