EASTON, Mass. (September 22, 2009) - Merrimack College stunned Stonehill College with a goal with just 36-seconds to play for a 3-2 double-overtime victory in Northeast-10 Conference men's soccer action at Skyhawk Field this afternoon.

Sophomore forward Robbie Sabadoz's (Ottawa, Ontario/Woodroffe) second goal of the match came with just 36-seconds remaining in the final of two overtime periods when he broke loose on a breakaway and slipped a shot past Stonehill junior goalkeeper Brandon McFarlane (Norwich, Conn./Norwich Free Academy). Sabadoz opened the scoring when he took a though ball from senior Greg Motta (Saunderstown, R.I./LaSalle) and snuck a shot inside the left post just 2:29 into the contest.

Stonehill leveled the match 2:22 into the second half when senior Martin Earley (Basel, Switzerland/Hampden (Maine) Academy) knocked in a flick from the left side by sophomore Ross McWilliams (Kingston, R.I./South Kingstown) for his second goal of the season.

Merrimack forged ahead again in the 65th minute as junior Elvert Bodden (Londonderry, N.H./Middlesex CC) pounced on a deflection inside the six and netted his first goal of the season. Stonehill equalized again to force overtime with only 5:25 left in regulation when freshman Anthony Campagnano (Schenectady, N.Y./Guilderland) took a pass from junior Michael Bridges (Sandwich, Mass./Sandwich) and bagged his team-leading fifth goal of the season.
