Braelan O’Toole is entering her first season as assistant coach with the Stonehill College women’s volleyball program.

O’Toole comes to Stonehill after a year at Bates College, during which she served as assistant coach for both the volleyball and women’s basketball teams. While at Bates, O’Toole helped to institute both preseason and postseason team lifting and strength and conditioning programs. She has also coached at summer volleyball camps held at Tufts University and Bentley University.

O’Toole brings a physical fitness expertise to Stonehill, having graduated from Keene State College in 2012 with a degree in exercise science, and a focus on strength and conditioning. She also served as a student strength and conditioning coach for Keene State Athletics her senior year.

While at Keene, O’Toole was a member of the Owls volleyball team all four years, finishing her career with 259 blocks. In her freshman season, Keene won the Little East Conference Championship and advanced to the 2008 NCAA Division III Tournament, a first for the Owls.
