Alumni Week

We celebrated Alumni Week this week! Former Skyhawk volleyball players from near (Easton) and wide (California) came to Merkert Gym to have a special brunch with our team before we played a match against the University of Bridgeport.

We also hosted the Yankee Adult Volleyball League and ran concessions Sunday to help support our fellow volleyball community.

Here’s the team tie-dying and making ribbons for the upcoming Dig Pink matches in honor of breast cancer victims and survivors.

This Week at Stonehill:

Opponents: This past Saturday we played Bridgeport at home. We head to UMass Lowell this coming Wednesday.

What we’re listening to: "Up, Up and Away" by Kid Cudi

Random Fact of the Week: Justine Thompson and Laura Noonan have played together throughout their high school, club, and college volleyball careers. At Bishop Guertin High School in Nashua, N.H., Thompson and Noonan started as setter and middle blocker respectively, and went on to play at Ace and Hard Rock Volleyball clubs before each committing to the Skyhawk volleyball program.
