Albany, N.Y. - 22nd-ranked Stonehill kept its unblemished record intact with an 81-49 victory over The College of Saint Rose in a Northeast-10 Conference encounter Thursday night at the Daniel P. Nolan Gymnasium. The Skyhawks (8-0/5-0 NE-10) buried five of their first six 3-pointers en route to a 27-11, lead seven minutes in and then maintained a double-digit advantage the rest of the way.

Sophomore guard Megan Methven (Corning, N.Y.) went 7-for-9 from the floor on the way to a game-high 22 points to lead a trio of Skyhawk scorers in double figures. Junior Kelsey Simonds (Middleboro, Mass.) added 13 points, while senior guard Erika Stupinski (Topsham, Maine) added 11 points and seven assists. Bethany Tighe (North Easton, Mass.) had an excellent all-around game with, seven points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Stonehill turned 27 Saint Rose turnovers into 22 points and held the Golden Knights to 27.8 percent (15-for-54) shooting from the floor in a game that had 19 players see at least 10 minutes of playing time.

After a 7-for-16 shooting display on Tuesday in a win over Assumption, The Skyhawks remained hot from behind the arc, connecting on 9-of-15 attempts, while holding Saint Rose to 30 percent from long distance.

Stonehill will visit #21 Bentley on Saturday for a key league encounter at 1:30 p.m. in Waltham, Mass.
