Northeast-10 Weekly Notes:

STONEHILL: Stonehill's 9-0 start is its best since the 1994-95 NCAA Division II Final Four squad won its first 13 outings, as the Skyhawks' current nine-game winning streak is their longest since a 10-game victory skein in January 1997. Wednesday's victory at LIU-C.W. Post improved Stonehill's all-time mark against NYCAC foes to 34-5 (.872), as the Skyhawks and Pioneers met for the first time ever. Stonehill is now 21-2 (.913) against non-conference foes during Trisha Brown's five-year tenure as head coach. Junior F Alisha Collins (Port Chester, N.Y.) has led Stonehill in the scoring column in four straight and five of the last six contests, while freshman F Kelsey Simonds (Bridgewater, Mass.) has been the Skyhawks' top rebounder in six of nine contests to date. Simonds had a double-double at halftime (15 points, 15 rebounds) in Saturday's win over Bryant, Stonehill's 41st triumph in 57 series meetings with the Bulldogs. The Skyhawks are now 53-1 in their last 54 contests when holding an opponent to 59 or fewer points dating back to February 2001. Sophomore G Erika Stupinski (Topsham, Maine) matched her career-high with 10 assists in Wednesday's win at LIU-C.W. Post. Stonehill has won 138 of its last 173 contests (.798) at Merkert Gymnasium.
