Northeast-10 Weekly Notes:

STONEHILL: Off to its first 5-0 start since December 1995, Stonehill reached the 100-point plateau in a game for the first time in over 10 seasons with Tuesday's 101-point effort against 11th-ranked Bentley, as the last time the Skyhawks reached the century mark in a game was on January 24, 1995 with a school-record 109 point performance at Assumption. Tuesday's 42-point win over Bentley was Stonehill's first over the Falcons in four seasons (dating back to November 2001), a stretch of eight contests. The Skyhawks' 58 first half points and 15 total three-point field goals rank as the second highest single-game totals in school history, and the margin of victory was Stonehill's highest ever against Bentley in the 76-game series history between the schools. The Skyhawks became only the third team to ever reach the 100-point mark against Bentley. Stonehill shot 63-percent from the field, 71-percent from three-point range and 89-percent from the foul line in Tuesday's win over Bentley, as each of those numbers ranks third on the all-time single-game lists in their respective categories. Tuesday's win was also Stonehill's first over a ranked opponent since a 57-55 triumph over Holy Family in the 2004 NCAA Northeast Regional quarterfinals. Junior F Alisha Collins (Port Chester, N.Y.) became the first Skyhawk to reach the 30-point plateau in a game with her effort against Bentley since Kristen McDonnell turned the trick on January 20, 2003 at Pace. Collins, senior G Bethany Roderigue (Winslow, Maine) and freshman F Kelsey Simonds (Bridgewater, Mass.) combined for 69 points and a 25-of-29 effort (86.2 percent) from the field in Tuesday's win. Sunday's triumph over Saint Michael's was Stonehill's 38th victory in 46 series meetings with the Purple Knights and its fifth straight in the series since January 2001. Collins, Roderigue, Simonds and sophomore G Erika Stupinski (Topsham, Maine) all set career highs in points this week, with Stupinski netting 19 in Sunday's win over Saint Michael's.
