Sophomore Mike Kernan (Medford, N.J.) finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds - his second double-double of the season - while Matt Hall (Springfield, Mass.) also totaled 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor.

Stallworth connected on four first half three-pointers to help the Skyhawks generate a 35-27 halftime lead.

A quick 9-2 start gave Stonehill 44-29 lead 3:37 into the second half following a conventional three-point play by sophomore Daniel Heppert (Richmond, Va.).

The Penmen answered back with an 11-2 run and cut the lead to five, 48-43, with 11:41 left on a steal and layup by Cory Vejraska.

Southern New Hampshire got as close as four, but Stonehill put the game away with a 13-4 run capped by a Hall three-pointer off of a Stallworth feed at the 4:44 mark to go up 61-48 and the lead grew to as many as 19 as time wound down.

Stonehill shot 56 percent over the final 20 minutes and 53 percent for the game while limiting the Penmen to 37 percent shooting on the afternoon.

The Penmen, who were outrebounded 38-35, were just 7-20 at the free throw line while the Skyhawks were 12-19 at the charity stripe.

Troy Bowen (12) and Stephen Wood (11) were the only Southern New Hampshire players in double figures.

Stallworth shot 9-for-19 from the field, while adding four assists and three rebounds. In addition to Kernan and Hall's output, A.J. Rudowitz (Monroe Township, N.J.) chipped in with nine points and seven rebounds.
