Rudowitz Named Second Team Academic All-District

 

A.J. Rudowitz has been named ESPN The Magazine Second-Team Academic All-District for the second straight season.

Easton, Mass. - A.J. Rudowitz (Monroe Township, N.J.) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine District I College Division All-Academic second team it was announced recently by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

The honor marks the second consecutive season in which Rudowitz has been selected to the team.

Rudowitz is also the only men's basketball student-athlete from the Northeast-10 to appear on the team.

A junior who recently eclipsed the 1,000-point barrier, Rudowitz sports a 3.45 grade point average in business administration.

On the court he has helped lead the Skyhawks to a 17-5 overall record while averaging a team-best 13.9 points and 7.9 rebounds.

The College Division All-Academic Team honors student-athletes from NCAA Division II and III and NAIA Division II schools. District I is comprised of all schools in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
