South Easton, Mass. - After going 40 weekly releases without receiving the award, Stonehill has now claimed Northeast-10 Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after senior Matt Hall (Springfield, Mass.) was tabbed by the Northeast-10 Conference office it has been announced.

Hall averaged 24.5 points on 72 percent shooting in as the Skyhawks posted a pair of blowout wins last week.

In a 77-59 win over Pace on Wednesday, Hall erupted for a career-high 35 points on 12-for-13 shooting. He made is first eight shots and was 6-for-7 from behind the three-point line.

Then, in an 80-59 victory over Saint Rose, he finished with 14 points and four rebounds in just 23 minutes of action.

Hall, who, as a member of the class of 2009, has won a school-record 80 games, is also closing in on 1,000 career points (976).

Meanwhile, A.J. Rudowitz (Monroe Township, N.J.) was named to the conference's weekly honor roll after averaging 12 points, 10.5 rebounds and five assists per game in a pair of games last week. He had seven points, 14 rebounds and a career-high six assists against Pace and then in a win over Saint Rose, he came off the bench to score a game-high 17 points and add seven rebounds and four assists in just 23 minutes.

Rudowitz was the other Stonehill player who was named Northeast-10 player of the week earlier this season following his 38-point performance against Merrimack. The duo became the first set of teammates since 1998 to have two different players score 35 points or more in the same season. Shaun Fein had 45 points in an 83-79 win over Bentley on January 17 and David Donnelly had 37 in the next game - a 93-87 win over American International.

The Skyhawks, which have won its last three games by an average of 19.6 points per game, close out their regular season on Tuesday when they visit Springfield for a meeting with American International.
