North Easton, Mass. - Skyhawk freshman Vince Rosario (Perth Amboy, N.J.) has been named Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week and two others have been named to its weekly honor roll it has been announced by the conference office.

Playing in the first three games of his collegiate career, the 5-10 guard averaged 11.7 points, 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals and shot 50 percent (8-for-16) from behind the arc as the Skyhawks went 1-2 at the Disney Tipoff Classic over the weekend.

In Stonehill's win over Barry on Friday, Rosario came off the bench to score a team-high 17 points in just 20 minutes, adding three assists and two steals.

He saw 22 minutes of floor time in the 114-113 triple overtime loss to Columbus State and posted 15 points, three assists, two steals and two rebounds.

A.J. Rudowitz (Moore Township, N.J.) showed no signs of a sophomore slump, as he recorded two double-doubles in three games helping him earn a spot on the weekly honor roll. He averaged 13.3 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two steals. In the win over Barry, he had 12 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals and then, in the triple overtime loss to Columbus State, he notched another double-double with 12 points and a career-high 15 rebounds.

Nick Smith (Colonia, N.J.) was also named to the weekly honor roll after averaging 21.7 points per game and shooting 51 percent from the floor, including a 7-for-7 from the field, 4-for-4 from the line, 3-for-3 from behind the arc, 21 point showing in the 76-72 loss to Grand Valley State. In the 114-113 triple overtime loss to Columbus State, he had 28 points and eight rebounds.

Stonehill returns to action on Friday when they take part in the New York Tech Classic. They face Queens College at 5 p.m. and then the host Bears on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
