Worcester, Mass. - Assumption forward Greg Twomey scored on a runner with 22 seconds left to lift the host Greyhounds past visiting Stonehill, 64-62, in a key Northeast-10 Conference game Saturday afternoon at Laska Gym.

Twomey, who scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half, rallied the Greyhounds from a 28-25 halftime deficit to improve their record to 19-7 overall and 13-6 in the conference (third place) while the Skyhawks fell to 15-11 overall and 11-8 in conference play (fifth place).

The teams traded baskets for most of the second half until a long three-pointer by forward Mike Baldarelli tied the game at 53-53, with 7:18 left.

With 37 seconds left Rudowitz put Stonehill back in front 62-61 making both ends of a two-shot foul situation before Twomey's heroics 15 seconds later put the Hounds in front to stay.
