Ticket and Parking Advisory for Thursday Football

Less than 500 tickets remain for Thursday's nationally televised matchup with #3 New Haven

EASTON, Mass. (October 17, 2012) – The Stonehill College athletic department is advising fans that due to a limited number of remaining tickets and tight parking restrictions they should plan to arrive early for Thursday's football game against 3rd-ranked University of New Haven at 8 p.m.

Less than 500 tickets remain for the game and will go on sale on Thursday at the W.B. Mason Stadium ticket booth at 6 p.m. All general admission tickets are $7.00 and all purchases must be made with cash.

Stonehill faculty, staff and students will be admitted free of charge with their HillCard. The first 1,000 Stonehill students in attendance will receive a free commemorative t-shirt and "Rally Rag." The student gate will open at 6:45 p.m., and all students in the stands by 7:45 p.m., will earn a chance to win Stonehill event tickets for life, including concerts, dances, senior events and athletic postseason events.

Fans will be allowed to park in all designated lots free of charge, but parking space near the stadium is limited. Tailgating lots and stadium gates will open at 6 p.m. Please also note that tailgating lots will close 15 minutes before kickoff for attendance at the game.

Stonehill is 4-3 overall this season, including a 4-2 mark in Northeast-10 Conference play. New Haven is ranked third in this week's American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II poll and off to a 6-0 start, including a 5-0 clip in NE-10 play. Thursday night's game will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network.
