2012: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Both Semesters). Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). Started in all 49 games for the Skyhawks on the season, one of five players to do so. Played all 49 games at shortstop. Hit .260 (44-for-169) with 37 runs scored, ten doubles, one triple, one homer and 18 runs batted in. Slugged .349 and posted an on-base percentage of .395. Went 3-for-4 in stolen base attempts and compiled a .935 fielding percentage in 216 chances (69 putouts, 133 assists, 14 errors). Hit .324 with runners on-base. Reached base at a .410 (16-for-39) clip as a leadoff hitter in an inning. Batted .333 (12-for-36) with runners in scoring position, .667 (6-for-9) with runners on third and less than two outs and knocked in nine two-out RBI's. Collected 11 multi-hit games including eight two-hit contests, two three-hit games and one game with four hits. Had four multi-RBI games. Put together a five-game hitting streak from March 24 to March 29. Hit .650 (13-for-20) during that span, scored six runs, notched six RBI's, had two doubles and two walks. Raised his average from .281 to .350 during that stretch. Reached base safely via a hit, walk or hit-by-pitch in nine-straight games to start the season and 37 out of 49 games total. Had a season-high three walks against C.W. Post in game one of a doubleheader on March 4. Also knocked in a season-high three runs in game two against C.W. Post (March 4) going 2-for-5 with one run scored and one double. Launched a home run against Concordia (N.Y.) on February 26. Has hit exactly one home run in each of his three seasons at Stonehill. Collected his only triple of the year versus Post University on February 25. Had a season-high eight assists against Concordia (N.Y.). Did not committ an error in his last six games to close out the season (22 chances total).

NE-10 Commissioner's Spring Honor
Roll. One of four players
to start and play in all 48 contests during the season. Finished
fifth on the team in batting average at .267. Ranked third in the
NE-10 in assists with 143. Compiled a .933 fielding percentage at
shortstop. Had eight games with at least two hits or more on the
seaosn. Went 4-for-4 with two runs scored, one double, one home run
and four runs batted in against American International College
(4/3) in a 9-3 win. Had three hits, one run and one run batted in
versus Adelphi University (3/26) in a 4-3 loss. Scored a
season-high four runs against the College of Saint Rose (5/6) in a
17-7 win. Also drew a season-high three walks in that contest. Had
two games with stolen bases in each contest, West Virginia Wesleyan
College (2/25) and Assumption College (3/23). Hit .308 against
left-handed pitching in 26 at-bats (eight hits). Batted .500 with a
runner on third and less than two outs (8-for-16). Hit .281 with
two outs (16-for-57). Had a team-leading 13 two-out runs batted in.
Reached base at a .487 clip, second-best on the team, as a leadoff
hitter in an inning (19-for-39). NE-10 Player of the Week (4/4). Zeiner Named NCBWA East Region and NE-10
Player of the Week.
2010: NE-10 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. Appered in 24 games and started 9 for the Skyhawks. Had a .259 batting average with five RBI, four runs scored and one home run. Went 2-for-3 with two RBI, two runs scored a home run in a game versus Saint Michael's College(4/21).
High School: 2009 graduate of Simsbury High School. Four-year letterwinner in baseball. Served as team captain. Earned All-CCC Selection both junior and senior year. Named to All-Courant Team senior year. Earned Zone 8 All-Star for American Legion. Four-year letterwinner for basketball and served as team captain. Two-year letterwinner for soccer.
Personal: Born on September 11, 1990 in Denver, Colo. Son of Lawrence and Marcella Zeiner of Simsbury, Conn. Has one brother, John (16). Majors in psychology and minors in education. Supports the New York Yankees. Lists Derek Jeter as favorite athlete.
