(May 9, 2016) – Stonehill College senior Megan Ruonavaara (Rocky Hill, Connecticut/Rocky Hill) has earned Academic All-District I first team honors for softball as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) members in Division II from the East Region. With her first team selection, Ruonavaara is now eligible for Academic All-America honors to be released later this month.

(May 6, 2016) – The Stonehill College athletic department held its end of the year Student-Athlete Awards Ceremony, presented by title sponsor Northwestern Mutual, at the Sally Blair Ames Sports Complex on Monday night. It marked the first year of a transition from a seniors only dinner to hosting the entire student-athlete body with the department issuing its annual senior student-athlete awards, while also presenting new underclassmen honors and team recognitions for spirit and community service.   • Fr. Denning Appointed to NCAA Division II Presidents Council

John Denning, C.S.C., has been selected to begin a four year term on the NCAA Division II Presidents Council, representing not just the College and Northeast-10 Conference, but all of Region 1, which includes all six New England states as well as Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.   • Stonehill Ranks Fifth in Division II with 96% ASR

    EASTON, Mass. (November 6 2015) – Stonehill College has once again been recognized for its academic performance with regard to graduation rate by earning a 96-percent Academic Success Rating (ASR) as released by the NCAA. The ASR considers the academic success rate of the institution based on the graduation rate of student-athletes while also giving credit for any student-athletes that transferred from the institution while in good academic standing.
