High School: 2014 graduate of Oceanside High School in Rockland, Maine, where she competed in cross country, indoor and outdoor track. Earned All-Conference first team honors all four years. As a freshman, was state runner-up for 1-mile run (indoor), as well as an individual qualifier for the New England Championship in cross country and indoor track. Also qualified for New Englands for indoor track as a sophomore and junior. Set school records in the 5k (19:36), 2-mile run (11:34), and mile run (5:25) as a senior.

Personal: Born July 10, 1996 in Sanford, Maine. Daughter of Michael and Hope Hersom of Rockland. Has a sister, Hannah, and a brother, Nathan. Two time St. Thomas Acquinas medal winner for having highest cumulative grade point average on the team. Enjoys baking, painting, and yoga. Lists the New England Patriots as her favorite team. Majoring in healthcare administration. Member of Lambda Epsilon Sigma and Upsilon Phi Delta.
