High School: 2014 graduate of Oceanside High School in Rockland, Maine, where she competed in cross country, indoor and outdoor track. Earned All-Conference first team honors all four years. As a freshman, was state runner-up for 1-mile run (indoor), as well as an individual qualifier for the New England Championship in cross country and indoor track. Also qualified for New Englands for indoor track as a sophomore and junior. Set school records in the 5k (19:36), 2-mile run (11:34), and mile run (5:25) as a senior.

Personal: Born July 10, 1996 in Sanford, Maine. Daughter of Michael and Hope Hersom of Rockland. Has a sister, Hannah (20), and a brother, Nathan (15). Enjoys baking, painting, and yoga. Lists the New England Patriots as her favorite team. Majoring in healthcare administration.
