2009: Placed 86th at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational. Finished 32nd in the NE-10 Championship with a season-best 19:54 in the 5k.

2008: Placed 64th in the 4k at the Trinity College Invite. Placed 55th in the 5k at the Codfish Bowl. Placed 61st in the Junior Varsity 5k race at the New England Championships. Finished 15th overall in the 5k at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships, earning Third Team All-Conference accolades. Placed 24th overall in the 6k at the East Regional Championships. Finished 167th in the 6k at the NCAA Championships.

High School: 2008 graduate of Weymouth High School. Four-year letterwinner in cross country, indoor track and outdoor track, serving as captain for all three teams her senior year. Named Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic as a junior. Five-time Patriot Ledger All-Scholastic. Bay State League All-Star.

Personal: Born July 20, 1990, Boston, Mass. Daughter of Richard and Maureen Mahoney of Weymouth, Mass. Has three siblings, Brian (28), Lauren (23) and Michael (17). Her father Richard and brother Brian ran for Boston College.
