Sophia Poveda Named NE10 Player of the Week

Stonehill Volleyball junior Sophia Poveda was named NE10 Player of the Week after leading the Skyhawks to three 3-1 victories this week over NE10 opponents. The junior averaged 3.58 kills per set as she only totaled 10 errors to see a .317 hitting percentage. Poveda also totaled four aces and 33 digs for 2.75 digs per set, as she recorded two double-doubles to bring her career total to 16. She was also a defensive player as she averaged 0.33 blocks per set.
