NE10 Volleyball Report: Week 1

EASTON, Mass. (September 10, 2018) – Stonehill College volleyball's senior Rachel Dunlavy was named Northeast-10 Conference Libero of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday.

Dunlavy earned her first honor this season assisting the Skyhawks to a 3-0 start to the year. Stonehill swept Caldwell University, Bloomfield College, and the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia with scores of 3-0. She saw double-digit digs all weekend for 36 matches in her career recording double-digit digs.

The Brighton, Michigan native saw a season high of 19 digs in a three-set match against Bloomsfield. Dunlavy is currently ranked second in the NE10 with her 5.44 digs per set average, which is a career high.

Stonehill will host the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown, Mercy College, and Assumption College this weekend for their Skyhawk Invitational. Stonehill will kick off the invitational battling the Mountain Cats on Saturday, September 14 at 11 a.m. and follow with Mercy and Assumption on Sunday at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., respectively.
