Stonehill To Host “Orange Night” To Raise Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness

Skyhawks fans encouraged to wear orange against Assumption College

EASTON, Mass. (September 6, 2012) – The Stonehill College women's volleyball team will host "Orange Night" on Tuesday, September 11 at 7 p.m. in Merkert Gymnasium against Assumption College to promote Leukemia & Lymphoma Awareness in memory of Henry Thevenin, '14. The event will look to support the Stonehill College football team in its efforts to honor Henry Thevenin "H-LUV" while raising awareness of leukemia and lymphoma.

Donations will be accepted at the match and also online for "Team H-LUV" who will participate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk on Thursday, October 11th. Donations can be made online at the following link: "Team H-LUV."

Stonehill  (1-0, 0-0 NE-10) travels to Allendale, Michigan to participate in the Riverfront Hotel Grand Rapids Classic at the GVSU Fieldhouse Arena this Friday and Saturday before returning home for its Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) season opener and "Orange Night" event against Assumption.
