2011 Season Wrap Up

We finished our season 27-7, tying the program record for most wins in a season (previously set in 1996, 27-8). Our regular season conference play record was 14-1, coupled with New Haven's loss in the NE-10 Tournament opening round, gave us the opportunity to host the NE-10 tournament in our own gym, a first in program history.
We made our first appearance in the NCAA Regional Tournament which was hosted at New Haven; we entered as the 6th seed.

During the first night before the start of the Regional Tournament we found time to relax, practice, study and Hibachi! While at Hibachi Grill in New Haven, some of us learned to use chopsticks for the first time, this of course was when we weren’t busy catching flying food in our mouths. Special Congrats to Coach who received the NE-10 Coach of the Year Award this season, our team couldn’t agree more!
We all want to thank our families, friends, fans, supporters, and especially Coach Amundson and Mo who encouraged us along the way, making all of our success possible this year. We’ve enjoyed every step of the way!
