Lastra, Lightbody Earn NE10 Weekly Honors

Stonehill Track and Field senior Anna Lastra and freshman Haley Lightbody were awarded weekly honors by the NE10 for their performances last week. Lastra was named NE10 Women's Track Athlete of the Week after competing in the 800-meter run at the URI Sorlien Invitational this weekend where she finished third in her heat. Her time of 2:19.74 ranked third overall amongst the 29 competitors and her converted time of 2:18.15 ranks 28th on the New England Championship list. Lightbody was named NE10 Women's Field Rookie of the Week after matching the New England Championship qualifying mark in pole vault in her third collegiate meet. She cleared a height of 11 feet, 1.75 inches at the URI Sorlien Memorial Invitational, placing sixth out of 19 competitors.
