Mattapoisett, Mass., senior captain collects honors for second straight year

EASTON, Mass. (April 28, 2014) – Stonehill College senior captain Kaitlyn Martin (Mattapoisett, Mass./Medway) was recognized with a spot on the 2014 Northeast-10 Conference Tournament All-Championship Team for her efforts as the Skyhawks advanced to the semifinal round last week. The announcement was made following the NE-10 Championship match won by Merrimack College on Sunday in North Andover, Mass.

Martin added a 6-2, 6-2 singles win over Melanie Scott that provided the Skyhawks with the deciding point. She also led her match in the first set (4-3) at Adelphi University in Friday's semifinal setback (5-1) when play was halted with the Panthers earning the deciding point.
