EASTON, Mass. (April 23, 2014) – Five of the Stonehill College women's tennis team's singles lineup have earned All-Northeast-10 Conference honors for their efforts during the 2013-14 season the league announced in advance of this week's NE-10 Tournament.

Senior Kaitlyn Martin (Mattapoisett, Mass./Medway), sophomore Analise Kump (Falmouth, Maine/Falmouth) and freshman Lorraine Smith (Littleton, Colo./D'Evelyn) headline Stonehill's five All-Northeast-10 singles performers with first team honors, having posted a combined 34-1 record in Conference play this season. Junior Meryl Lawrence (North Scituate, R.I./Mount Saint Charles Academy) and sophomore Bailey Paradiso (Birmingham, Mich./Marian) round out the Skyhawks All-Conference honorees with third team honors. Smith was also selected to the NE-10's All-Rookie Team by the league coaches.

Martin earns her fourth All-Northeast-10 award with her second straight first team honor at No. 5 singles. She also collected third team honors as a freshman at No. 5 singles when she was also named to the second team at No. 2 doubles. Martin has posted a combined 38-16 record in singles and doubles play this season, including a 20-6 singles mark while winning all 12 matches in NE-10 play. She is 11-3 this season at No. 5 while also recording a 5-2 record at No. 4. Martin was named the NE-10 Player of the Week on September 24 for the third time in her career.

Martin owns a career combined record of 132-43 (.754) in singles and doubles play over her four year career at Stonehill. She is 66-19 (.777) in singles play during her career, including a 39-2 (.951) record in NE-10 matches with 29-straight Conference singles wins dating back to her freshman year. Martin has also posted a 66-24 (.733) career doubles record, including a 30-7 (.810) clip in Conference play. In addition to her four career All-Conference awards, Martin has been named to the NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll four semesters and the Athletic Director's Honor Roll once. She also earned NE-10 All-Championship team honors in helping lead the Skyhawks to the 2013 NE-10 Championship and was an NE-10 All-Rookie Team selection as a freshman.

Kump earns her second All-Northeast-10 award with her first All-NE-10 singles performance after collecting second team honors at No. 2 doubles along with Paradiso. Kump earns All-NE-10 honors this season at No. 4 singles having posted a 20-7 singles mark, including 11-1 in Conference matches. She is 11-3 this season at No. 4 singles to go with a 6-2 clip at No. 3, including a 5-0 mark in league play. Kump has posted a combined record of 35-15 in singles and doubles play this season and has been named the NE-10 Player of the Week once on March 18.

Kump, an NE-10 All-Rookie Team selection as a freshman, has posted a 75-25 (.750) combined record in singles and doubles play over her first two seasons. She has a two year singles record of 35-13 (.729), including 19-1 (.950) in NE-10 play, to go with a 40-12 (.769) career doubles record, including 22-2 (.917) in Conference matches. Kump received the St. Thomas Aquinas, Patron Saint of Students, Medal at the annual Academic Achievement Breakfast for having the highest cumulative grade point average on the team and has earned NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Athletic Director's Honor Roll recognition all three semesters at the College.

Smith rounds out Stonehill's first team All-Conference honorees with her recognition at No. 6 singles to go with All-Rookie Team status. She has posted a combined record of 23-6 in singles and doubles play during her first collegiate season, including a 15-5 singles mark, winning all 11 of her NE-10 singles matches. Smith has also posted an 8-1 doubles record with three different playing partners over the course of the season and has been named the NE-10 Rookie of the Week once. She also collected NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Athletic Director's Honor Roll status following her first semester at Stonehill.

Lawrence earns All-Northeast-10 honors for singles for the third straight year with her second straight third team performance at No. 3 after collecting first team honors at No. 6 singles her freshman year. She has posted a 31-18 combined record in singles and doubles play this season, including a 16-10 overall singles record in which she posted a 9-3 mark in NE-10 play. Lawrence is 8-6 this season at No. 3 singles and has also posted a 5-3 mark at No. 2.

Lawrence, an NE-10 All-Rookie Team selection as a freshman, has posted a career combined record of 94-33 (.740) in singles and doubles play over her three year career. She is 54-18 (.750) in singles play, including a 30-5 (.857) mark in NE-10 matches, to go with a 40-15 (.727) career doubles record, featuring a 26-1 (.963) clip in league play. Lawrence, who was named to the NE-10 All-Championship team in helping lead the Skyhawks to the 2013 title, has collected NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll status two semesters and Athletic Director's Honor Roll accolades one semester at the College.

Paradiso rounds out Stonehill's All-Conference performers with her third team award at No. 2 singles. It marks her second All-Northeast-10 honor after being named to the second team at No. 3 doubles with Kump her freshman season when she also earned NE-10 All-Rookie Team status and was ranked as high as 12th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II East Region singles rankings. Paradiso has posted a 31-18 combined record in singles and doubles play this season, including a 14-9 singles mark with a 9-3 record in NE-10 matches. She is 9-5 overall this season at No. 2 singles to go with a 5-3 mark at No. 1 and has been named the NE-10 Player of the Week on two occasions.

Paradiso, the first singles player to earn a regional ranking by the ITA in program history when she did so as a freshman, has posted a combined record of 73-35 (.676) in singles and doubles play over her two seasons at Stonehill. She owns a 29-21 (.580) career singles record, including 17-7 (.708) in NE-10 play, to go with a 44-14 (.759) career doubles mark, including 19-5 (.792) in Conference matches. Paradiso has been named the NE-10 Player of the Week four times over her career and she and classmate Kirsti Toegemann (Narragansett. R.I./The Lincoln School) were ranked ninth in the ITA East Region doubles rankings this season.

Stonehill (16-6, 10-2 NE-10), ranked ninth in the most recent ITA Division II East Regional rankings, is seeded third in its quest to defend its NE-10 Tournament Championship. The Skyhawks open their title defense with a first round matchup with sixth-seeded Bentley University in the Sally Blair Ames Sports Complex this afternoon at 2 p.m. The winner will advance to Friday's semifinal round at second-seeded Adelphi University at 2 p.m. The NE-10 Championship will be played on Sunday at the site of the highest remaining seed at 1 p.m.
