High School: 2012 graduate of The Lincoln School. Four year letterwinner. Competed at No. 3 singles as a freshman, No. 2 singles as a sophomore and then No. 1 singles as a junior and senior. Ranked No. 3 in the Conference and reached the Rhode Island State Championship semifinals her senior year after being ranked No. 4 in the Conference as a junior. Team placed second in state his freshman year, and USTA semifinals his sophomore year.

Personal: Born January 6, 1994, in Providence, R.I. Daughter of Jon S. and Lisa Bateson-Toegemann of Narragansett, R.I. Has an older sister, Amy (22), who is a 2012 Stonehill graduate and member of the women's tennis team, earning ITA East Region Senior Player of the Year honors, and a brother, Christopher (22), who was an All-Northeast-10 tennis player at Merrimack College. Undecided on academic major. Chose Stonehill because of its great balance of tennis and academics.
