Women’s Soccer Welcomes Eight to Class of 2021

Eight student-athletes to join women's soccer program

EASTON, Mass. (February 9, 2017) – The Stonehill College women's soccer team and head coach Alex Wilson '08 are pleased to announce the eight incoming student-athletes for the class of 2021.

Among them include four from Massachusetts, three from Connecticut and one from Colorado.

"I am pleased to officially welcome the Class of 2021 to Stonehill College!" stated Wilson. "These student-athletes have a proven record of success both on and off the field and their decision to become Skyhawks only reinforces their desire to continue on that path as academics and athletes in a competitive environment".

Women's soccer will see 10 seniors wrap up their four years at Stonehill, including one goalkeeper, two forwards, three midfielders, and four defenders.

"The seniors left their legacy with this program, one of the most prolific seasons in history, and I expect the team to continue to raise their standards as a group and fill those shoes together while welcoming this incoming class to further build the tradition here at Stonehill," reacted Wilson.

"The Class of 2021 will bring a diverse skillset both technically and tactically. At this next level, their abilities will help them impact in a variety of ways on and off the field and I look forward to getting the full squad together for pre-season to prepare for 2017," explained Wilson.
