St. Martin Selected to NSCAA All-East Region Squad

Providence, R.I. native earns regional honor for second straight year

EASTON, Mass. (December 6, 2010) – Stonehill College senior Kirstie St. Martin (Providence, R.I./ Mount Saint Charles Academy) has been selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division II All-East Region second team for the second consecutive season.

St. Martin earns the honor after recording career highs of 15 goals and seven assists for 37 points this season, finishing second in the Northeast-10 Conference in scoring. She posted four multi-goal games, including one hat trick, and five games with four or more points to lead the Skyhawk offense, and was named to the NE-10 All-Conference first team for the second time.

She also earned a pair of regional honors last month, becoming a first-time selection to the Daktronics All-East Region second team and the ESPN Academic All-District I third team.

St. Martin wraps up her Stonehill career with a total of 40 goals and 18 assists for 98 points, ranking second in program history in career goals and career points.

Stonehill posted an overall record of 8-8-2 this season to finish tenth in the NE-10 standings.
