EASTON, Mass. (October 29, 2010) – Two members of the Stonehill College women's soccer team were today named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Team for their performances this season. Senior forward Kirstie St. Martin (Providence, R.I./Mount Saint Charles Academy) was named to the First Team and sophomore back Sara Nagle (Manchester, Conn./Manchester) was a Third Team selection, as determined by the conference's 16 head coaches.

St. Martin, who earns her second consecutive First Team selection, finished her senior season with a team-leading 15 goals, the second-highest single-season total in program history, and added seven assists for 37 points. She posted four multi-goal games, including one hat trick, and five games with four or more points. St. Martin also earned NE-10 Player of the Week honors once this season, and finished the season ranked second in the NE-10 in both goals and points.

Nagle earns her first NE-10
All-Conference nod after being named to last year's All-Rookie Team.

In her top performance of the season, St. Martin scored three times and added an assist for seven points in a 5-1 win over Southern New Hampshire University on September 7, kicking off a six-game scoring streak in which she totaled nine goals. She scored both goals, including the 89th-minute game-winner, against Saint Michael's College on September 10, and put up two goals and an assist for five points at Bentley on October 5. St. Martin concludes her Stonehill career with a total of 40 goals and 18 assists for 98 points, and ranks second in program history in career goals and career points.

Nagle earns her first All-Conference nomination after being selected to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team last season. She led a Skyhawk defense which this year posted five shutouts and compiled a team goals against average of 1.18, a tenth of a goal better than last year's mark and nearly a full goal better than two years ago. Nagle also recorded two assists during the season, including one on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over the University of Bridgeport on October 13.

Stonehill posted a final record of 8-8-2, finishing tenth in the NE-10 standings.
