Sullivan broke up the run with her first goal of the game with 22:33 left in the first half, but Alvino answered 15-seconds after that to wrap a run of four goals within a minute between the two teams to restore the Pioneers two goal lead.

Mallery scored a free-position goal with 10:18 to play in the first half to stretch the LIU Post lead to three goals (6-3), but Stonehill followed with a three-goal run over a four-minute span to draw level (6-6) after junior Kenzie Pleshaw's first goal of the year with 5:24 left.
