EASTON, Mass. (March 7, 2018) – Stonehill College sophomore Bailey Grant (Chelmsford, Massachusetts/Chelmsford) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference's Goalkeeper of the week for women's lacrosse by the league office.

Grant earns NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week honors for the second time in her career after she made five of her season-high nine saves in the second half of Saturday's 19-10 win at Molloy College. She limited the Lions to just two goals after halftime as the Skyhawks broke open a 10-8 game at the break. She held Molloy to 4-for-9 on free-position shot attempts, posting three saves on free-position attempts in the first half as Stonehill erased a pair of three goal deficits in the frame to take a two goal lead into the second half.

Through three games this season, Grant has recorded a 12.00 goals against average with 8.3 saves per game over 180-minutes in her three starts. She ranks fifth among NE10 leaders for saves and is fourth in minutes played.

Grant emerged as Stonehill's starting goalkeeper during her freshman season, finishing the year with 12 starts in her 14 games played. She earned a spot on the NE10 All-Rookie Team after posting a 9.12 goals against average with six saves per game in posting an 8-4 record over 769:43. Grant has now started 15 of 17 games over her short Stonehill career to date, posting a 9.67 GAA, with 6.4 saves per game in 949:43, posting a 10-5 win/loss record. She earned NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week honors for the first time in her career as a freshman on April 10, 2017.

Stonehill (2-1, 1-1 NE10) is off until next Tuesday, March 13, when it hosts Southern New Hampshire University for a Northeast-10 matchup at W.B. Mason Stadium at 7 p.m.
