All-Rookie Team. Played 19 games, starting 18. Part
of a defensive unit which ranked fourth in the NE-10 with 163
caused turnovers and fifth with a 10.60 team goals against average.
Ranked fourth on the team with 27 ground balls to go with three
draw controls and 11 caused turnovers. Played all 12 NE-10 games
and recorded 17 ground balls, three draws and nine caused
turnovers. Posted 16 ground balls, two draws and five caused
turnovers in ten road games. Had 18 ground balls, three draw
controls and nine caused turnovers in the Skyhawks 13 wins. Chipped
in two ground balls in three postseason games. Totaled 13 ground
balls, a draw and six caused turnovers in the month of March.
Posted 12 ground balls, two draws and five caused turnovers in
April. Finished with 16 ground balls, a draw and five caused
turnovers in nine games played against ranked opponents. Made her
collegiate debut in season-opener at #4 Rollins and established a
season-high with four ground balls (3/2). Caused a season-high two
turnovers in win over Saint Michael's (3/18). Matched her
seaosn-best with four ground balls to go with a caused turnover in
win at Assumption (3/20). Contributed two ground balls, a draw
control and caused turnover in win over #13 New Haven (3/23).
Posted two ground balls and a caused turnover at #5 Adelphi (3/30).
Had two ground balls and a caused turnover at #7 Le Moyne (4/6).
Chipped in two ground balls and a caused turnover in win over #12
Bentley (4/9). Notched three ground balls and a caused turnover in
key win over #10 Dowling (4/20). Produced two ground balls and a
caused turnover in regular season finale at Saint Anselm (4/23).
Added two ground balls in NE-10 Tournament first round win over
Saint Anselm (5/1).
High School: 2012
graduate of Winchester High School. Two year letterwinner for coach
Sue Ontso. Earned Middlesex League All-Star and All-Eastern Mass
selection as a senior. Team reached the Massachusetts State Finals
her junior and senior seasons. Named team's "Most Improved" player
her senior year. Also lettered in soccer, serving as captain her
senior year.
Personal: Born
March 8, 1994, in Boston, Mass. Daughter of Brian and Darryl DiRe
of Winchester, Mass. Has two brothers, Brandon (21) and Dylan (14).
Undecided on academic major. Chose Stonehill because of the
academics and campus. Supports the New England Patriots. Lists Tom
Brady as a favorite athlete.
