The game was scoreless until Jaycox scored the first two goals just over a minute apart, the latter coming with 20:36 left in the half. Mathewson and Crimi added unassisted markers before O'Brien gave the Panthers a five goal lead with 13:02 remaining. After a goal from sophomore Alexa Froccaro (Sand Point, N.Y./Port Washington) with 12:15 left, Stonehill got on the scoreboard with a free-position goal by Lane with 8:49 to play.
