Indoor Season

2012-13: NE-10 Commisioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). NE-10 Field Athlete of the Week (2/12). Threw in eight meets for Stonehill during the indoor season. Placed 2nd in the shot put at UMass Boston Invitational (12/1/12) with a throw of 46-11.50. At the same meet, placed 5th in the weight throw with a toss of 46-04.75. Finished 2nd in both events at Reggie Poyau Invitational (12/7) with a shot put of 46-05.25 and a weight throw of 47-09.25. Threw 46-00.00 even at Joe Donahue Games (1/25/13) in the shot put to place 8th, the same result as a 49-1.00 weight throw at the same meet. Had a personal-best weight throw of 51-05.50 at URI Sorlien Invitational (2/2). Won the shot put event at Tufts Cupid Challenge (2/11) with a throw of 47-03.75. Placed 4th in both events at Northeast-10 Championships (2/16); 47-08.00 in the shot put (personal best), 50-07.50 in the weight throw. Competed in the shot put at New England Championships (2/23), throwing 47-05.75, good for 15th.

2011-12: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). Competed in ten events throughout the season for the Skyhawks. Posted three top-ten finishes out of ten events. Set two personal bests and placed inside the top-five in two events at the Reggie Poyau Invitational (12/10/11). Finished 4th in the shot put with a throw of 43-7.75 and ranked5th overall in the weight throw with a toss of 39-8.00. Finished 8th overall in the shot put at the University of New Hampshire Tri-Meet (1/21/12) with a throw of 40-4.25. Also, ranked 14th overall in the weight throw (39-2.50). Placed 14th overall out of 38 competitors in the shot put in his first ever collegiate meet at the Jay Carisella Invitational (12/3/11) with a toss of 42-2.25. Finished 11th overall at the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Championships in the shot put (40-5.50). Competed in the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoor Games (1/27/12) in the shot put (42-9.50) and the weight throw (37-7.25). Placed 13th overall in the weight throw at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12) with a toss of 39-00.50 and 12th overall in the shot put (40-7.50).

Outdoor Season

2013: Competed in six seven meets for the Skyhawks. Threw shot put in each meet. Placed 3d at Bridgewater State Bears Invitational (3/23) with a throw of 45-02.50. Took home 4th at UMass Invitational (4/13) with a throw of 46-01.50. Won event at Skyhawk Invitational (4/26) by throwing 47-05.25. Placed 7th at Northeast-10 Championships (5/4) with a throw of 46-00.50, and set a new personal best in the shot put with a 48-01.25 mark at the New England Championships (5/11), good for 15th. Placed 3rd in the hammer throw at Holy Cross Invitational (4/20) with a throw of 141-10.00. Took home 4th at Skyahwk Invitational with a throw of 130-08.00. Placed 6th at Northeast-10 Championship in the hammer throw with a personal-best mark of 144-08.00.

2012: USTFCCCA All-East Region (shot put). Competed in four meets for the Skyhawks. Placed 10th/18 in the shot put (43-2.11) at the UConn Spring Invitational. Took a 10th place finish out of 20 competitors in the shot put (43-9.20) at the George Davidson Invitational. Notched a 9th/13 finish in the hammer throw (112-6.00) and 4th/13 in the shot put (45-8.00) at the Holy Cross Crusades. Finished 13th/30 at the Brown Springtime Invitational in the shot put (45-10.50).

High School: 2011 honors graduate of Methuen High School. Three-year letter winner in track and field. Senior captain, Most Valuable Player and All-Conference selection. Four-year letterwinner in football. Senior class president. National Honor Society member.

Personal: Born on June 25, 1993, in Lawrence, Mass. Son of Lori and Bruce Cormier of Methuen, Mass. Has a sister, Renee (14). Majoring in business with a minor in English. Lists greatest sports moment as placing first in the MVC championships in the shot put with a throw of 52 feet in outdoor track his senior year. Lists hobbies at Stonehill as Hall Council (Community Representative), Surround Sound and Marketing /Management Association.
