Indoor Season

2012-13: Athletic Director's Honor Roll (Fall Semester). NE-10 Commisioner's Honor Roll both semesters. Competed in the pole vault in seven meets for the Skyhawks. Placed 2nd at UMass Boston Invitational (12/1/12) with a mark of 14-1.25. Also placed 2nd at Reggie Poyau Invitational (12/7) by clearing 13-11.25. Broke his own school record at Joe Donahue Games (1/25/13) by clearing 14-11.00 at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center, good for4th in the event. Placed 3rd at URI Coaches Tribute Invitational (2/2) by clearing 14-9.00. At the Tufts Cupid Challenge (2/11), placed 2nd by clearing 14-07.25. The same mark was good for 3rd at the Northeast-10 Championships (2/16), just shy of an All-Conference bid.

2011-12: NE-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll (Both Semesters). USTFCCCA East Region (Pole Vault). Competed in the pole vault eight times throughout the duration of the season. Placed 3rd overall at the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) Championships (2/18/12) clearing 13-7.25. Set a new school record in the pole vault at the Boston University Valentine Invitational (2/11/12) with a hight of 14-7.25 for 8th place out of 22 competitors. Tied the school record at the New England Championships (2/24/12). Finished 3rd overall at the Charley Torpey Memorial Invitational (2/4/12) clearing a height of 14-6.25. Cleared 14-00.00 at the New Balance Boston Collegiate Indoors Games on January 27, 2012.

2010-11: NE-10 Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll. Cleared a season-best height of 11-1.75 (3.40m) at the Tufts University Stampede. Also competed at the NE-10 championships.

Outdoor Season

2013: Competed in six meets in the pole vault for the Skyhawks. Placed 5th at Duke Invitational (4/6) by clearing 14-7.25. Saw two more 5th-place finishes at UMass Invitational (4/13) and Holy Cross Invitational (4/20) with heights of 14-03.25 and 13-11.25, respectively. Won pole vault at Skyhawk Invitational (4/26) by clearing 15-5.00, breaking his own school record. Placed 4th at Northeast-10 Championships (5/4) by clearing 13-11.25, and finished 13th at New England Championships (5/11) with a score of 14-11.00. Also saw action on the 4x400m and 4x800m relay teams, including a 6th-place finish at Northeast-10 Championships (3:23.02).

2012: Competed in five spring season meets for the Skyhawks. Notched a 24th/40 place finish in the 200m with a time of 23.97, and took 6th/20 in the pole vault (14-3.17) at the Uconn Spring Invitational. Placed 8th/23 in the pole vault (13-7.25) at the George Davidson Invitational. Took 1st/11 in the pole vault (15-3.00) at the Skyhawk Invitational, setting a new school record. Earned 1st/10 at the Holy Cross Crusades in the pole vault (14-11.00). Finished 1st/13 in the pole vault (14-3.25) at the Brown Springtime Invitational.

2011: Athletic Director's Honor Roll Spring Semester. NE-10 Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll. Set his career best in the pole vault clearing 13-5.25 (4.10m) at the Skyhawk Invitational finishing in 4th place. Also competed in the pole vault at four different meets including the Bryant University Invitational (13-00.00), George Davis Invitational (12-11.50), UMass Minutemen Invitational (13-3.50) and the NE-10 championships (12-11.50).

High School: 2009 graduate of Chaminade High School. Letterwinner for indoor and outdoor track Nassau-Suffolk Catholic High School Athletic Association (NSCHSAA) League Champion in varsity pole vault his senior year.

Personal: Born September 23, 1991, Glen Head, N.Y. Son of Nancy and Patrick Byrnes of Glen Head. Has a brother, Connor (17). Majoring in biology. Lists Timothy Mack as favorite athlete.
