Jim Reddish, a forward and midfielder at Stonehill during the mid-1990s, is now in his 15th season as head coach of the men's soccer program at his alma mater.

2022 marked the college's first year at the Division I level as members of the Northeast Conference. Reddish led the squad to a 3-12-2 record and 1-5-2 conference record with their first Division I victory coming in a 1-0 victory at University of Saint Thomas Minnesota. Stonehill saw Jacob Woznicki earn NEC All-Second Team honors for his efforts on the pitch. 

Reddish and the Skyhawks resumed action in 2021 and posted a 6-10-1 record while finishing with a 3-8-1 NE10 record. One the program's wins included a 1-0 double OT victory over No.1 Franklin Pierce University. It was the program's s first against a team ranked No. 1 in the country.

In 2018 Reddish posted 6-8-2 record which included 5-7-1 in the NE10. Men's soccer saw both Keegan Butt and Eben Degbor named to All-Conference Third Team and All-Rookie Team respectively. The following year, Reddish and the Skyhawks ended with an 4-12-1 record and was 2-9-1 in conference. In 2020, the season was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Reddish saw a 6-8-2 overall mark and a 5-7-1 NE10 record in 2018 as junior Keegan Nutt '20 was selected to the NE10 All-Conference third team, while freshman Eben Degbor '22 was voted to the All-Rookie team. 

The Skyhawks wrapped up the 2017 season with a 6-10-2 overall mark and a 3-9-1 NE10 record, finishing 10th in the conference. Senior Adam Branco was tabbed on the NE10 All-Conference third team for his third-straight award, while he was also tabbed on the CoSIDA All-District first team for his first honor. 

Guided the 2016-17 squad to a ninth-place finish in NE10 Conference play, wrapping up the season with a 7-10 overall record and a 5-8 conference mark. Stonehill was voted to finish eighth in the 2016 NE10 men's soccer preseason coaches' poll. Reddish coached Adam Branco '18 to the NE10 All-Conference third team.

Reddish assisted the 2015-16 team to a 7-8-2 overall record, while also putting them at 4-7-2 in the Northeast-10. The 2015-16 squad earned the Team Academic Award from the NSCAA for posting a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Reddish guided Stonehill to its most successful season in over 20 years in 2014, as the Skyhawks went 11-6-1, the most victories for the program since 1993, including 9-4 in Northeast-10 Conference play, a new program record. At the conclusion of the season, Reddish was named NE-10 Coach of the Year for the first time in his career, and three of his student-athletes earned All-Conference honors.

Stonehill, which was picked 11th in the NE-10 preseason coaches poll, finished fourth in the league standings and hosted a home playoff game for the first time since 1994. The 2014 campaign produced many memorable moments, including Stonehill's first-ever victory over Franklin Pierce University on October 8^th, and the program's first triumph against archrival Bentley University since 2005. Reddish's squad also earned its second consecutive Team Academic Award from the NSCAA for posting a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Stonehill had a strong start to its 2013 season, winning its first two NE-10 matches without allowing a goal. The Skyhawks ended up at 4-8-1 in conference play, and 5-10-1 overall. For the third consecutive season, Stonehill placed a student-athlete on the NE-10 All-Rookie Team, as freshman back Patrick Keogh earned the honors in 2013.

Stonehill kicked off the 2012 campaign with promise, earning a draw with #21 Saint Thomas Aquinas College in its season opener. The Skyhawks then defeated Concordia College in their second match with the help of two goals from freshman forward Drew Montano. Stonehill finished the season at 5-11-1, including 4-9-0 in the NE-10, and Montano was named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team after leading the Skyhawks with four goals.

In 2011, Reddish piloted Stonehill to its first winning season since 1997 (9-8-1) as the Skyhawks finished with a 10-9 record overall on the year. Under Reddish's guidance, Stonehill also tied the program record for conference wins this fall which was set in 1990 (7-1-1) posting a 7-6 mark in the NE-10. The Skyhawks, who lost to eventual NE-10 champions Franklin Pierce University in the quarterfinal round, landed two players on the NE-10 All-Conference Team and one on the All-Rookie Team. Senior forward Michael White was selected to the NE-10 All-Conference First Team while senior back Christopher Agan earned his third-straight NE-10 Third Team selection. White became the first Stonehill player to earn First Team accolades since Tom Wetzel in 1999 and Agan became the first Stonehill player to earn three-straight all-conference honors since midfielder Robbie Burns in 1997. Freshman goalkeeper Adam Colella was named to the NE-10 All-Rookie Team becoming the first player in Stonehill program history to earn the honor.

In 2010, Reddish led the Skyhawks (7-8-2 overall) to their first playoff appearance since 1999. Stonehill went 2-0-1 over its final three contests, not allowing a single goal to secure a playoff spot in the Northeast-10 quarterfinal round. One loss over that three game span would have eliminated the Skyhawks from playoff contention. Stonehill used stingy defense to make its first playoff appearance since 1999 as the Skyhawks ranked seventh overall in the Norhteast-10 with a 1.26 goals-against average (six shutouts). The Skyhawks had three players named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference squad including junior forward Michael White (second team) and their two anchors defensively in junior back Christopher Agan (third team) and senior midfielder Todd Shigo (third team).

In 2009, his second season, Reddish's team finished with a 7-9-1 record, the best in his first three seasons. The squad was led by a strong defensive unit which allowed half a goal per game less than the previous year's average, ranking 10th in the conference with a team goals-against average of 1.64 and posting three shutouts. Sophomore back Christopher Agan was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference third team, Stonehill's first defensive honoree since 1999.

In his first season, the Skyhawks went 4-10-3 overall and played four contests that they lost by one goal. Reddish's first career coaching victory came in dramatic fashion on the road at American International, with Mark Bolster scoring in the 87th minute. 

Reddish spent six seasons as an assistant coach with the Skyhawks prior to taking over for one of his mentors in Jose Gomes, who stepped down in 2008 after 19 seasons at Stonehill to take a full-time position within the College's Recreation Sports Department.

Reddish has remained close to soccer since graduating from Stonehill. A former intern of the New England Revolution, he began coaching locally at Westwood High School, Millis High School, and various youth camps. 

Reddish is a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and received his National Coaching Diploma in 2001 and his Advanced National Coaching Diploma from the Association in 2009.

Prior to returning to Stonehill as an assistant coach in 2002, Reddish worked as a Graduate Assistant in Alumni Relations at UMass-Amherst and completed a year-long internship in Sports Marketing at Boston College. He also served as the Interim Sports Information Director at UMass-Boston before attending graduate school.

A 1996 Stonehill College graduate with a degree in Communications, Reddish also earned a master's degree in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts in 2002.

A native of Needham, Mass., Reddish and his wife Carrie, also a Stonehill graduate (1997), reside in Needham with their three children, Kathryn, Kyle, and James.
