Falcons score twice in second half to complete come-from-behind victory

WALTHAM, Mass. (September 26, 2015) – The Stonehill College men's soccer team ceded two second half goals today at Bentley University, falling 3-2 to the Falcons in Northeast-10 Conference play.

Senior Drew Montano (Avon, Connecticut/Avon) and sophomore Adam Branco (Naugatuck, Connecticut/Naugatuck) scored second half goals to give Stonehill a 2-1 lead, before the Falcons scored two of their own to retake the lead and claim the victory.

Montano tied up the contest in the 58th minute off of a long throw in from Branco, which he headed in from the center of the box. Branco scored a goal of his own just four minutes later to take a 2-1 lead, when classmate Matthew Gallo (Mendham, New Jersey/West Morris Mendham) sent in a cross from the right side of the box to Branco, who volleyed it into the near post.

The Skyhawks' lead was short lived. Just four minutes later in the 66th minute, Bentley senior forward Scott Levy (Canton, Massachusetts/Canton) headed in a free kick from junior midfielder Jose Tirado (Lima, Peru) to tie the game up at two.
