Worcester Mass. - The Skyhawks started off strong but weren't able to hold off Assumption who scored in the last minute to send the match into overtime and then scored the clincher in OT to beat Stonehill 4-3.

The Skyhawks started the game off aggressive, with junior Todd Shigo (Naples, Maine) scoring just five minutes in to go up 1-0.  Stonehill then added to their lead just three minutes later with Shigo sending a pass to Kevin Halloran (Tyngsboro, Mass.) to put the Skyhawks up two.

The Gryounds responded with two goals of their own before the half, to knot the game at two going into halftime.

In the second half both teams had chances to score before Micheal White (Lisbon, N.H.) put the Skyhawks up on a header in the 79th minute.

Assumption wouldn't go quietly as Bredan McGee nailed home a shot in a scramble in front of the net with just 37 seconds remaining in the game to knot things up at three and send the game into overtime.

In overtime, Stephen Blaisdell headed in an Andrew Koch pass in the 99th minute to hand Stonehill the loss.

Brandon McFarlane (Norwich, Conn.) had four saves in goal for the Skyhawks who fall to 1-2 on the season.
