Stonehill's Season Ended with a 2-0 Loss to Saint Anselm

Manchester, N.H. - The men's season concluded
Tuesday night with a 2-0 loss to Saint Anselm (6-10-1, 4-9
NE-10). With the loss Stonehill's record ends at 5-11-2,
2-10-1 in the Northeast-10 Conference.
Saint Anselm would score early in the first when Tim Hubbard nailed
home a goal assisted by Tyler Waldrupe. Sam Lamptey would add
goal in the 23rd minute off a penalty kick to give the
Hawks a 2-0 lead
Sophomore goaltender Brian Guerrini (Glastonbury,
Conn.) had five saves in defeat. His record in net dropped to
3-8-2 with the loss.
Sophomore David Pohl (Weymouth, Mass.) finishes
the season with the team's scoring title. He had seven goals
this year.
The game marked the end for seniors Danny Gomes
(Brockton, Mass.) and Joey Silva (Brockton,
Mass.). Both will graduate in the spring of 2008.
