How It Happened:

  • Stonehill saw two opportunities in the first period as the Ravens were called for penalties, but Franklin Pierce's penalty kill remained strong fending off the Skyhawks' three shots in the four minutes.
  • At 12:28 in the first period, Morrissey led on a 2-on-1 and he dished the puck left, finding Stevenson. At the blue line, Stevenson beat a defenseman as Schoen got his right pad to the backhand attempt, but Stevenson's shot narrowly trickled over the goal line for a 1-0 advantage.
  • In the second period, Stonehill was called for four penalties and in between two of them Seibold tossed the puck towards the net from the right post and Peloso tipped in the puck at 7:01 for the equalizer. This was Peloso's sixth goal of the season.
  • Just over two minutes later, with 12 seconds left on the power play, the Ravens' Jacobs puts a shot wide left from the middle of the blue line and Nikolopoulos corrals it behind the net and quickly wraps to the right post for their second advantage of the game, 2-1, at 9:13
  • At 4:47 in the third period, Stonehill put together a string of five shots together before Frament sent forward the puck from the left point and Meade registered his fifth goal of the season and 14th career tally.

Thirty three seconds later at 5:20, Nehmer and Peloso skate down to the Skyhawks' offensive zone in a 2-on-1. Peloso tries for a shot but is denied and he finds Seoane who finds the back of the cage for a 3-2 lead, the Skyhawks' first advantage of the game.
  • On the Skyhawks' sixth penalty of the game, Stonehill was able to hold off the Ravens for 28 seconds before Franklin Pierce's Lester put away Gorbett's rebound at 13:49 to tie the game for the third time, 3-3.
