Stonehill (2-2-1, 2-1-1 NE10) saw Shamus Maloney (North Attleboro, Massachusetts/Neponset River Valley Rats) tally two goals, while Logan Stark (Newton, Massachusetts/Walpole Express - EHL), Nick Schofield (Foxboro, Massachusetts/Williston Northampton), and Jack Scannell (Medford, Massachusetts/Proctor Academy) recorded the other three. Junior goaltender Billy Palmer (Cranston, Rhode Island/Boston Bandits – EHL Premier) stopped 18 shots on goal.

Franklin Pierce (2-4-0, 1-2-0 NE10) saw Alex Lester, David Wilcox, and Jack Williams each notched a goal for the Ravens. Blaise Kilroy and James Morrissey recorded the assists.

The Ravens scored the first goal of the game from Lester, as he forced a turnover in the neutral zone and took the puck to their attacking third. Lester ripped the shot to the right upper 90 at the six-minute mark.

With a very quiet start to the second period, the Skyhawks tied the game at 15:43. Conley chipped the puck to Cassidy, as Maloney slid the puck home for a 1-1 tie. Stark tallied his first goal of the game at 19:20 in the second frame, while he also registered the Skyhawks only power play goal of the game.

Early in the third period, the Skyhawks registered two goals in roughly 2:30, giving them a three-goal advantage, 4-1. Michael Seibold (Reading, Massachusetts/Williston Northampton) dumped the puck down the ice from the Skyhawks' own blue line, sending it off the backboards into the right wing. Maloney won the race to the puck and skated his way to in front of the net, slipping the puck to the back of the cage at 1:36.

Wright once again threw the puck out as Schofield was able to slip a shot past the goaltender at 2:30.

The Ravens were able to get one tally back at 13:41 with a shot from a rebound that Wilcox was able to put away in the third frame. To get more offense going, Franklin Pierce pulled their goaltender inside two minutes, as Stonehill capitalized on an intercepted pass at center ice and a first-season goal by Scannell at 18:57.

Franklin Pierce was only able to come within two, 5-3, with a final goal inside the minute mark, 19:08. Morrissey found Williams at the bottom of the circle, and Williams sent a one-touch shot for the Raven's third goal of the game.

Stonehill takes some time off as it prepares for the Steve Hoar Memorial Tournament at the Worcester Ice Center, hosted by Becker College. The first game will be on Saturday, November  25 against Fitchburg State University with a start time of 4:00 p.m. The first round will be followed by a game on Sunday, November 26.
