Around 16 minutes into the frame, Newton was able to gather a lose puck from a wide shot from the Wildcats and skated past defenders to find the back of the cage for his second goal of the season, 1-1. Once again, Johnson & Wales kicked off the third period with three-straight shots, but this time the third blew past Palmer for a 2-1 advantage only 43 seconds into the frame. The Wildcats took off once again, as only at 1:08, Gray crashed the cage for his fifth of the season receiving assistance from Mackin and Bates. Once more, at 4:49, Johnson & Wales Mackin capitalized on passes from Michael Mazzotta and Ben Brouillard, as Stonehill was a man down, extending the Wildcats' lead to three, 4-1.
