Matt Miller is entering his third season as assistant coach for the Stonehill men's basketball program.

Miller joined the Stonehill coaching staff after a brief stay with Keiser University in West Palm Beach, Florida, after serving two years as a graduate assistant coach at the University of Arizona. He assisted the Wildcats coaching staff with video projects, recruiting, practices and game statistics as the team posted a combined 59-13 record over his two years on the staff, including 30-6 in the Pac-12, winning a pair of Pac-12 Championships and earning two NCAA Tournament bids, reaching the Sweet 16 in 2017.

Prior to his time at Arizona, Miller was graduate assistant manager for his alma mater the University of New Hampshire during the 2015-16 season. He performed the duties of director of basketball operations for the Wildcats under head coach Bill Herrion, as the team went 20-13, including an 11-5 America East record, reaching the America East semifinals and earning a bid to the Collegiate Invitational Tournament.

Miller is a 2015 graduate of New Hampshire, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, and a minor in coaching. He was a three-year letterwinner for the Wildcats after transferring from Seton Hill University. Miller earned third team All-America East honors as a senior, leading the conference in three-point field goal percentage. He scored over 1,000-points in two years at Seton Hill, earning West Virginia Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year honors in 2011 and second team All-WVIAC accolades in 2012.

Miller earned a graduate certificate in autism spectrum disorder studies from UNH in 2016 and a Master’s Degree in educational leadership from Arizona in 2018.
