EASTON, Mass. (January 17, 2018) – Le Moyne College, ranked third in this week's D2SIDA East Region poll, built a 19-point halftime lead behind 82-percent shooting in the first half and didn't look back in posting a 72-51 victory over Stonehill College in Northeast-10 Conference men's basketball action on Paula Sullivan Court at Merkert Gymnasium tonight.

Senior Isaiah Eisendorf (Silver Spring, Maryland/Springbrook) paced a Le Moyne offense which shot 63.4-percent from the field (26-for-41), including a blistering 14-for-17 (82.4%) in the first half alone, with a game-high 20 points on 8-of-11 shooting from the floor, while converting all four free-throw attempts, to go with three rebounds and two assists.

Senior Tyquan Rolon (Syracuse, New York/Nottingham) made 7-of-9 shots, including 4-for-5 from three-point distance, for 18 points, to go with five rebounds and two assists. Classmate Russell Sangster (Rockville, Maryland/Bullis School) added 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting, with seven boards, while sophomore Tom Brown (Ellicott City, Maryland/Centennial) pulled down a game-high ten rebounds to go with six points, two assists and three steals as the Dolphins enjoyed a 35-16 rebounding advantage.

Sophomores Will Moreton (Minneapolis, Minnesota/Edina) and Brandon Twitty (Randolph, Massachusetts/Catholic Memorial) paced Stonehill with 12 and 11 points, respectively. Moreton added five rebounds, four assists and a steal to his 12-point night, while Twitty collected four steals. Freshman Owen Chose (Eden Prairie, Minnesota/Eden Prairie) scored nine points, on 3-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc, while sophomore Dan Largey (Oceanport, New Jersey/Peddie School) chipped in eight points and three boards.

Le Moyne led from start to finish, scoring the first seven points of the game, including four points by Sangster, on its way to a 14-point lead (23-9) after a Rolon three-pointer nine minutes into the game. Stonehill had pulled within three points twice after three-pointers by Moreton (9-6) and Chose (12-9), the latter of which came with 13:32 to play in the opening half. The Dolphins stretched their lead out with nine-straight points, capped by the Rolon triple, that opened a 15-2 run to push the lead to 16 (27-11) after two Eisendorf free-throws with 6:17 to go in the half.

Le Moyne took a 19-point (37-18) lead into half, extending that cushion to 21 with a Sangster layup to open the second half scoring, two minutes in. Three-pointers by Largey and Moreton quickly cut the Stonehill deficit to 15 (39-24) with 16:20 to play, but the Dolphins held firm and was able to grab a game-high 23-point lead (54-31) with 9:34 on the clock, following back-to-back dunks from senior Robert Jones III (Mansfield, Ohio/Mansfield) and Rolon.

Stonehill made one last push, with an 11-1 run, led by seven points from Twitty, to draw within 13 (55-42) with 6:10 still to play. Le Moyne again held the Skyhawks at arm's length, outscoring the hosts 17-9 the rest of the way to seal the win.
