Notes: Stonehill, ranked fifth in this week's D2SIDA East Regional poll, has won two of its last three after a commanding 78-44 triumph over New Haven here on Tuesday night. The Skyhawks are now 8-1 at Merkert Gym this season and is led by junior Ryan Logan (Fredericktown, Ohio) with 19.3 points per game (5th), shooting 49-percent from the field, including 43.8% (28-64) from three-point distance (13th), while converting 75% (36-48) of his free-throws (15th) with 8.4 rebounds (7th), 4.1 assists (7th) and 1.2 steals per game. Senior Carter Smith (Columbus, Ohio) adds 15.7 points on 50.6% shooting, including 48.5% (50-103) from beyond the arc (7th), while converting 82.2% (37-45) of his free-throws (9th) and contributing 2.4 rebounds, 4.2 assists (6th) and 1.4 steals, while classmate Pierce Cumpstone (Bainbridge Township, Ohio) contributes 12.1 points on 52.1% shooting from the floor (14th) with 9.1 rebounds (6th) and 1.7 blocked shots per game. Stonehill ranks second in the NE-10 for scoring defense (70.3 ppg) and fifth for scoring offense (80.9 ppg), while ranking second for three-point percentage (.413), assists per game (17.3) and fewest fouls committed per game (15.4), third for rebound margin (+5.9), fourth for field goal percentage (.475) and steals per game (6.8) and seventh for free-throw percentage (.720).

Notes: Pace enters this afternoon's game having dropped six of its last eight following an 81-73 setback at Saint Michael's on Tuesday night. Freshman forward Ryan Peterson (Wethersfield, Conn.) set a new personal best with 27 points, including 16 points in the first half after sinking 4-of-5 three-pointers and 6-of-7 shots from the field. He slowed down in the second half, but still managed to net 11 more on 5-of-11 shooting, leading the team with eight rebounds as well. Peterson leads the team with 15 points per game on 44.3-percent shooting, including 43.2% (57-132) from three-point range, while converting 74.1% (20-27) of his free-throws, with 6.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. Senior Shelton Mickell (Queens, N.Y.) is averaging 13.2 points, shooting 79.2% (57-72) from the line, with 5.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals per contest, while classmate Kyle Pearson (Woodbridge, N.J.) adds 12.8 points per game on 47-percent shooting from the field, with 7.6 rebounds per game. Sophomore Bryan Rivers (West Windsor, N.J.) chips in 11.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
