EASTON, Mass. (December 21, 2015) – Stonehill College junior forward Ryan Logan (Fredericktown, Ohio/Fredericktown) has been named the Spalding Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week for men's basketball the league office has announced today.

Logan, who earns Spalding NE-10 Player of the Week honors for the second time this season (third career), posted his sixth double-double of the year (13th career) in Sunday's 89-85 victory at Bloomfield College in Stonehill's lone game of the week. He filled the stat sheet with 19 points and a game-high 13 rebounds to go with seven assists, a blocked shot and a steal in the win, shooting 8-for-12 from the field, including 3-of-4 from three-point range.

Senior guard Adam Bramanti (Middleton, Massachusetts/Masconomet Regional) earned a spot on the NE-10's weekly honor roll as well. He scored a career-high 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 5-for-11 from three-point distance, draining all four free-throws with three rebounds, three assists and a steal against Bloomfield.

Logan, an All-Northeast-10 third team selection as a sophomore, ranks second in the NE-10 and 11th nationally with his six double-doubles this season and averages a double-double with 19.2 points (5th NE-10) and 10.2 rebounds (3rd) per game, adding a team-high 4.4 assists (6th) and a steal per contest. He is shooting 52.2-percent (82-for-157) from the field (17th), including 47.5% (19-for-40) from three-point distance (12th), and connecting at 73.7% (28-for-38) from the free-throw line (20th).

Logan has scored in double figures all 11 games so far this season, including 20-plus points four times with a season-high 30 points in the Skyhawks season-opening 81-67 victory over Post University, posting a string of 16 straight double-figure games dating back to last year. He also ranks 17th nationally in Division II for rebounding average, grabbing 8.4 defensive boards per game to rank fifth nationally.

Logan has started all 66 games of his Stonehill career, averaging 13.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists and a steal per game. He is a 45.4-percent shooter over his career, including 41% (75-183) from long distance, while converting 70.2% of his free-throws. Logan, an NE-10 All-Rookie Team pick as a freshman, has totaled 908 points, 484 rebounds, 169 assists, 56 steals and 23 blocked shots in his career.

Stonehill (9-2, 4-2 NE-10), ranked fourth in this week's D2SIDA East Regional poll, is off until after Christmas when it visits the University of Bridgeport for a non-conference matchup next Wednesday, December 30, at 7 p.m. The Skyhawks don't return home until Wednesday, January 6, when they host Le Moyne College for a Northeast-10 matchup at Merkert Gymnasium at 7:30 p.m.
